Medication Blog

Welcome to the New & Improved MyPillAlert.com!

Posted by Randy on Feb 6, 2025

For the past year and a half, MyPillAlert.com has been helping people manage their medication schedules with simple, reliable SMS reminders. What started as a personal project has grown into a tool that I know many rely on to stay on track with their prescriptions. Now, I'm excited to share some major updates that improve both the look and security of the platform!

A Fresh New Look
One of the biggest changes you’ll notice is the website’s refreshed design. I’ve worked hard to make the interface more intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly so that managing medication schedules is even easier. Whether you’re setting up reminders, reviewing your history, or updating your details, the site now offers a smoother experience across all devices.

Your Data, Fully Encrypted
Security has always been a top priority, and I’m taking it a step further. With this update, MyPillAlert.com now encrypts all medication-related details, ensuring that sensitive information remains private. I’ve implemented AWS KMS with Envelope Encryption, a technology trusted by major companies worldwide, to secure your data at every level.

What Does This Mean for You?
End-to-End Protection – Your medication details are encrypted before being stored, meaning even I can’t see them.
Industry-Level Security – AWS Key Management Service (KMS) ensures that your data is as secure as possible.
Same Reliable SMS Reminders – Despite these upgrades, the core function of MyPillAlert—timely, accurate text reminders—remains unchanged.
Still Free, Still Here for You
Unlike other reminder services that charge subscription fees, MyPillAlert.com remains completely free. This isn’t a business—just something I built to help people (myself included) stay on top of their medications without hassle.

If you’ve been using MyPillAlert.com, thank you for trusting it as part of your daily routine. If you’re new here, I hope this update makes managing your health a little easier.

Let me know what you think, and if you have suggestions for future improvements, I’d love to hear them!

Stay well,
